Can't seem to get the search function to return results apart from the last days' worth of messages?

Say I ask it to search for 'cat'; it only tells me the answers by searching the last day or so rather than all messages as specified.

you must checked the 'Make this my default search'

• beside the search engine, there is 'advanced' click on it

• type the word/phrase you want

• change 'Date submitted' to 'anytime'

• change any option you want

• click search
