Can't sell my van! I'm in Auckland... What do I do??

I am a backpacker in Auckland right now and my plane to California leaves on thursday, which means I have tomorrow to sell my van. There aren't many other backpackers looking for vans right now-- peak season is over...so what can I do if no one offers to buy my van? Can I sell it to a auto-dealership? it is a 1987 Toyota Town Ace with 4wd...great van! so what can i do?

take it to auto auctions or Turners auctions..look them up on google or white pages..have you tried trade me..auction closing in 24 hours?Good luck.

Turners car auctions will auction it on your behalf. Just drop the car off to them with the papers and they'll put it in the next auction. And send the money through to you when it sells.

You might have trouble selling a van that old. Some dealers might take it off you hands, but don't expect to get much for it. Alternatively you could try a wrecker.

Find a friend or someone else in New Zealand, chuck it on Trademe.

check out your local Craigslist of similar site. There is someone always in need of stuff there.
