Can't send messages on Xbox? ?

Question

Sooo, last night I was like sending regular text messages on my xbox and just randomly, I went to send another message and it didn't send- it comes up with this box that has a red X and it's like "Cannot send message" or something. And, I figured it would just go away or something but it hasn't. Any ideas why?
