  1. when you first get a retainer, it's really rough, but my advise would be to wear it for like an hour or two before you go to bed every night and soon enough, it won't be a big deal at all. your mouth gets used to it after a few days

  2. thats pretty serious so you should call whoever prescribed that to you.

  3. ha that use to happen to me don't worry a week from now you'll be better

  4. Make sure its on all the way. You might think its pushed on all the way but it can still move further.

Also, since its first night just wear it for a day or 2 more before worrying. Gotta get use to those bad boys.

  5. don't worry you will get used to it eventually and trust me I have been wearing retainers for the last three years!

  6. if its that bad, contact ur orthodontist.

  7. don't have an answer for u but I had the same prob. I would try to sleep in it but I would find it on the floor next to my bed in the morning. good luck

  8. what type of retainer do you have?!? i have invisiline, if you can't sleep the first night then thats normal. i couldn't sleep the first night either but now i dont feel them.

  9. The more you wear it, the better it will get.

You just have to give it some time!
