its a joke promotional campaign, so what ?

no wonder people say veggies have no sense of humour.

There are many people here that say i'm inferior because i'm vegetarian and not vegan, can you complain about those too please.

Here are some of the comments I've received from vegans here:

...........I'm lazy, selfish, dont' care for animals, lacking knowledge, ignorant, unable to "do vegan because its too hard", i want the attention, I'm not that passionate about the cause, and I'm not very educated on animal cruelty and just a wanna-bee

I think that would be much nearer to discrimination than your example.

can i first say that i am really quite suprised by 'Big A's" answer

it was very steriotypical and made him look like jerk (  sorry taking it to heart because  am a vegitarian)

i really don't think people shoould bother with this , i think it was a stupid marketing campain , but whatever they want to promote their business

there are much more offensive things in the media today , when i first saw the add i was like WTF s***w you but i relly don't care

it will only effect them in the end and those people stupid enough to believe them .

Why?  No different than vegetarian product ads being seen by meat eaters.

Not really...everyone has an opinion (or in this situation, advertising angle) and they can post whatever they like.

P.S. Vegans don't eat prawns and scallops.  They are considered to be meat.

And vegans/vegetarians never say anything bad about chicken processors or meat eaters? I think the fact they are killing thousands of chickens everyday would be more important than hurting your feelings.

Vegetarians and them vegans discriminate agaist all things meat. Vegans are a bit less so since they will eat prawns and scallops

It's a silly statement to make, but I don't find it offensive.

That website definately excludes those who don't eat meat, but it's just a marketing thing and I won't pay much attention to it. Don't let it bother you.

That "there's something wrong with you" statement is pretty tasteless. I am a little surprised that somebody would think that's a catchy line.

But since vegetarians have never gained the status of a "protected group" like ethnic minorities, g**s, women, people with disablities or whatever, I don't see how it could be called "discriminatory."

It's a marketing scheme to get people's attention. And it worked getting yours.

It's not discrimination because they are not denying you any rights. You have the right to not eat chicken or any other meat.
