Can't up load photos?

Question

When I try to upload photos I get the error message "Picture Services only supports JPEG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF image formats. Try again using a version of your picture saved in one of those formats." The only formats that I can save in are .bmp and .art. How can I correct this problem?

You don't say what app you're using. Try getting Gimp, and saving your images to .jpg.

Convert your .bmp and .art to Geocities-supported formats.

There are lots of freeware that could do this for your picture/images then try re-uploading them [this time in jpeg,gif,png, tiff image formats] to your Geocities account.
