Can't view pictures using windows picture viewer ?

i normally use windows pic viwer to view pics i have got from the net, but it doesn't work anymore......i download the image to my pictures folder, but the icon is there, but i cant see the pic, so i right-click and go on opne with windows pic veiwer, then the thing comes up saying no preview avaliable.....what should i do ?

try right clicking the file/photos and select another programs to open them with-if nothing opens the odds are they didn't transfer to folder-redownload photos and select where to store them
