Can't we stick with DVDs for a little longer?

i dont want no bloody blu-ray high definition c**p.

DVDs are fine quality. Why do we have to move on so fast?

dvds been out 4 over 10 years not really fast but I agree with u cause dvd was to expensive bak then hd and all that is a scam it aint that much better its a way of electronics companys of cashing in

That's how industry makes money buy making us feel unsatisfied. If there was a TV ad tomorrow suggesting that  green fridges are for hip people  there would be a rush to buy them.

I HATE materialism because it does not make humans happy but greedy.  I feel that a fridge is just a fridge!

Materialism does not care about  landfill sites or our cash flow!

Lets stick together on this NO flash definition rubbish!

so the big companys can make more profit from us seeing as everyone will now have converted from vhs tapes to dvd now enter blue ray

No one is forcing you to move on. DVD's are going to be around for quite a while yet.

i.e.: DVD came out in 1997 in the US, it didn't outsell VHS until mid-2003.

don't worry about it , DVD's will be here for a very long time ,

dvd's sell more in a month then blue-ray does in a year ,

just be aware that they are the future, and will be taking over sooner or later
