  1. Yes, 12-year-olds can go to Red Lobster without their parents.

A tip should be at least 15% of the bill.  So if you buy an entree that costs $22, your tip should be 15% of $22, or $3.30.  Don't forget that there is also sales tax that will be added.

Remember that the cost of your entree DOES NOT include your beverage, any appetizers, or a dessert.  So if you want a Coke, shrimp cocktail, a $22 entree, and then a piece of pie, you're going to need enough money to cover all that, PLUS the sales tax on it all, PLUS the 15% tip (15% of the total food bill).

You can always go to Red Lobster ahead of time and ask them for a copy of the menu to take with you.  That will let you look at the items, see their prices, and add up for yourself the cost of the meal, sales tax, and tip.

  2. So long as you have money to pay with, including a good tip, no one should reject you or be unhappy with your presence.

But please do not pay just a dollar as a tip. At least pay five dollars for your $22 dollar meal; much more if you're both getting a $22 dollar meal.

If you both buy something costing 22 then that is 44. Plus tax and you're looking at around 46. You're good girls so you're not going to leave a lousy tip (waitresses do NOT get paid well and unless she throws your food at you and spits in your face never, ever give a one dollar tip), you're going to pay at least nine dollars. So that's about $55 dollars. But don't forget your drinks which will cost a dollar or two as well.

Basically come with at least $65 ready. You never know what else you may decide to buy and my prices are all estimates.

  3. Im sure they would let you in, but you need to leave a much bigger tip than that

  4. yea

  5. dude, if you have enough money why not?

they're not gonna be like "you can't come in."

  6. If you think that a dollar tip on a $44 meal is even remotely appropriate, I suggest you stay home and study your percentages.
