Can A Girl Friend hit a male partner ?

My girl friend hit me in the arm can i have her charged she was very nasty and quick about it, I was hurt and sore and suffering Pycho problems. Can I get legal aid and medical help it happened 2 weeks ago.

i think you can tbh? but i'm not 100% sure.

i don't believe that i should hit my boyfriend and things cos if he hits me, i can get him charged asap but if i hit him, they don't take it that serious? it's not fair.

if you have a mark and can prove that she done it, then you may be able to do something about it - just whatever you do, don't go hit her back as then you'll be the one in the wrong and they wouldn't even bother listening to you about what she done.

Well....if you are in that kind of a relationship perhaps you shouldn't be in it. In order to get any of that....you needed to call the police and go to the hospital. It's been two weeks....you can try...but I don't think you'll get anywhere. Everyone will ask you why you didn't do anything 2 weeks ago...why it took you so long to file charges...get medical attention, etc.

By law you can have her arrested but I have the feeling that you are not telling us the full story.  What did you do to her because don't forget you're going to have to tell the cops what you did to provoke her

It's not okay for girls to hit guys, just the same as it is not okay for you to hit her.  If you are having psycho problems, I doubt this is what caused it.

If she hit you, you can press charges.  However, she actually has to damage you.  You just sound like you have an insy weensy bruise on your arm.  Really, you can only press charges when serious damage has been done.  Otherwise six year olds could charge other six year olds when they squabble on the playground.  How old r u anyway?  U sound a bit like my kindergarten students.
