My Brother He Has Autism He's 9 Years Old. He Started To Talk When He Was About 2 And Then He Stop Talking. Right Now He Starting To Say Like "la la la" Or "dee dee". Do You Think He Will Talk Now?

  1. Some children with autism learn to talk eventually and some remain non-verbal or partly non-verbal. There are therapies that can help many of them learn to talk, but not all.

    Many people with autism who remain partly or fully non-verbal learn to use communication devices or sign language, so even if your brother will not be able to talk he might be able to communicate in other ways.


  2. As above, he can learn to talk, and behave approprately or communicate with a structured treatment regime, which is therapy, and will probably have to stay on meds, for focus and concentration, to accept and respond to therapy.

  3. if he gets proper therapy and treatment, yes, he will talk, and likely live a normal life.
