Can A Male Dog Have Nipples?

My Dog Has Little Bumps Near His Private

Like Where A Female Dog Would Have Her Nipples At.

they are nipples because my dog and my cats have nipples and there noth boys so no worries he will be fine.

Being that mammary glands are a distinctive feature of mammals, yeah. Male mammals have nipples. Only females lactate though. So don't try to milk him.

Ha ha that's exactly the same question I asked the Vet when I mistakenly thought his nipples are some kind of skin problem.

When the VEt told me "no those are his nipples"

I said " male dog where got nipples ?"

then he look at me and said.. " U have right ..."

and we both laugh it off..

Probably nipples. Male everythings have nipples. Every fetus starts out sexless, therefore, even though nipples are no use to males, they still have them.

Well, think about it.  Do male humans have nipples?  Yup!  Dogs develop in a similar fashion as humans in utero (we're both mammals!), so yes... those are his nipples.  :)
