i think a failed relationship always leaves a scar. fortunately, time heals, and new people come into our lives to take the pain away. the scar is just a reminder of what once was.

I believe it is always remembered therefore the argument is whether it would be a scar, a memory, or just a thing of the past that haunts us. Depends on the person.

It really depends on how "into the person" or in love with the person you were.  For me, all 3 of my serious relationships have left scars on my heart.  One really left scars on my psyche too.  =(

You may not be the same exact person you were before you met the other person, but you can definitely make a recovery.  It's hard but it will happen.

Depends on how much you cared about and loved the person...but when love comes, it erases the worse of scars...except for the physical ones of course...Hmmm...

Because this scar will always remind us -without pain though- the mistakes we had done, being a constant lesson to our life.  We should always remember what has hurt us before.  So to protect ourselves in the future.
