I'm in the state of Texas and I'm staying with the father of my unborn child and hes helping in every way he can but i still want to know just in case i need it for some reason.

  1. get an abortion kiddo....be responsible!

it's better for you, your family and especially for the fetus

it'll be $400-$1,000 but well worth it!

  2. I AM NOT SURE BECAUSE I DO NOT LIVE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. I SUGGEST LOOKING AT THE WEBSITE OR GOING TO THE NEAREST PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU MORE. I AM SURE THEY HAVE TO LET TEENS WHO ARE ABOVE 18, EMANCAPATED OR MARRIED, NOT SURE IF YOU ARE IN THAT CATEGORY. BUT YOU COULD ALWAYS TRY. NOT HARM IN THAT. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK. HOPE I HELPED.

DONT LISTEN TO THE STUPID IDIOT ABOUT THE ABORTION. DO WHAT YOUR HEART TELLS YOU TO DO. ABORTION IS KILLING A HUMAN LIFE.

  3. i'm sure you can. if you inform them you are not living with your parents and not getting any help from them that should help you out more. good luck. my suggestion is to think cheap when it comes to baby things. i know this wasn't part of your question but i'll tell you anyways. shop yard sales you can find TONS of nice baby stuff there. i bought almost my son's whole winter wardrobe at a yard sale for about $11. they are all name brands, gap, old navy, ect. and in great condition. most of the shirts were only .10!! breastfeed if you can it saves you a ton even if you do formula and breast milk it will save you a ton plus WIC will give you a FREE pump so you can just pump and store if you don't actually want to feed at the breast. Plus WIC will give you tons of information and they can help you in any type of situation or give you the resources to get you help. good luck. if you need anything else let me know.

  4. you can apply for anything your baby needs. and don't get an abortion that really stupid.

  5. As a teen without an income, you will qualify for Medicaid. CHIP is for people in between poor and middle class that need help for their children. So, please apply for the correct kind of help. An application to CHIP will only refer you to fill out a form for medicaid. Since you are pregnant, you need the insurance NOW.

Call your local department of job and family services and make an appointment. Explain your situation and they can refer you to the things that you need.  Get to a doctor right after you see a social worker. Tell them that you have applied for medicaid. (Medicaid will cover your bills 3 months prior to your application if you qualify) So they will see you. If you are pregnant, you need to see a doctor. well let me word this a bit differently: That baby needs a doctor now.

  6. Yes you can apply for CHIPS without your parents,You have to prove were you are living and why you are no longer living at home if you are under the age of 18.I would apply for chips even if you have the help of  your other half.If anything ever happens with you and him at least you have something to fall back on for you and your child.I wish you the best of luck!!!

  7. yes, a teen mother can apply for whatever they need for their unborn baby. btw, having an abortion is not always the answer. i was a teen mother and i did just fine.

  8. How is getting an abortion responisble, sorry this is in reply to the women who answered 1st. My friend is in a MUCH MUCH worse situation and even she doesn't want to have an abortion even though it seems to be the best thing for her child. Just because someone is a teenager doesn't mean they won't be a good parent, I know MANY  teenagers that are better parents than people in their 20's, 30's and 40's.
