  1. U need to read about the other side. There is no GW ,it is a scam for money and U bought it. Gore propagated it and it is a lie.

  2. Hmm, could happen, is about as likely as anything. If you gotta go....go with a bang

  3. Well this guy just threw the internal engine dynamics out the door. I notice he left out some paramount factors such as the thermal properties of salt water (anti freeze) and down-played circulation (water pump). Some other factors missing, but a very humorous read. (Thanks)."lol"

  4. Thats really bad i hope those crazy scientists are gonna put back all those ice cores they took out before the earths core overheats.

  5. No. The "NU Journal of Discovery" is not peer reviewed, nor is it really an established scientific journal.  "NU is a University in which the study of the limitations of the material reality will be only a part of exploring the Universal Law and the Purpose of Existence."

Let me ask you.  Do volcanoes emit more CO2 than Man?

There are crazies on all sides of this issue.  But the majority of serious scientists say global warming is real, and mostly caused by us.

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

EDIT - Sorry.  The trigger was "peer-reviewed" a concept which is routinely savaged by the denier community here.  As a scientist I have some trouble with that, and so, little sense of humor about it.

I honestly don't think the concept of peer review applies here.  I believe the entire output of this "journal" consists of 4 articles by Chalko, from 2001-2004:

  6. The author works for a private company, so I'm not sure what his angle is.  The writing looks to be a clever psuedo-proof of the world being in danger of exploding.

When you encounter this type of alarmism it's hard to tell the paradies from the real alarmism.

This is a 'proof' written in a scientific language that's not a proof at all.  Unfortunately, the IPCC's literature is full of this type of writing.

It also seems to be quite socially acceptable for academics to be complete nut jobs (not that most are, just that the few that are seem to fit right in), like the academics responsible for the link below for example.

  7. lol

that will be good to post at the JR collage i go to.
