I understand that its 'counting' landed punches... but how to you 'define' a landed punch... who decides this? etc..

  1. The majority of the judges have to vote that something is landed as a punch.

The punch has to hit the head, and have "the weight of the shoulder behind it"

Although, I believe this system needed some changing, because it is quite often that you see guys getting beat on repeatedly but still win.

I don't like the idea mostly because getting scores from hits promotes against knockouts, which limits excitement.

  2. 3 out of 5 judges have to hit a button within 1 second and if that happens then it counts as a punch landed

  3. The judges decide. i think some fights are unfair though because the boxer piunches his target and doesnt get points for it some times. thats becasue of the judges are blind. they should have put judges on all 4 sides but they placed 3 on 1 side
