When this country was founded it was supposed to be set up so that a man shall only pay his government it's taxes when he agrees with the way the government runs his country.

I have asked many people in the past to show me where it states we have to pay this government taxes..

OH I forgot the IRS runs on MAFIA law..You pay us we fund government programs that are aimed at CONTROLLING you LYING to you..and enslaving you to an economic system AND if you dont pay WE THE IRS WILL DESTROY YOU...

Did I forget something..OH YEA SHOW ME THE LAW passed by the people by congress the senate and the executive branch...!!

  1. If you're counting on there not being a law, you're out of luck. Also, if you're counting on some antiquated rule about those who disagree with government not having to subject to said governing, well, look to your Civil War for that one. Here's the facts, if you disagree with government you can overthrow said government with your vote every four to six years - you are part of the political process. If you're not crazy about the US process, quit your job, get off of the net, buy a cabin in the woods and live off the grid where interaction will be minimal. Otherwise, live with it.

  2. Article 1 - Section 8 of the Constitution gives congress the power tax litterally anything they want.

The Sixteenth amendment removed the apportionment clause that was in the Constitution originally.

Title 26 is the law (Look it Up!!!)

  3. No, but I dare you not to.

  4. US Tax Code:

    TITLE 26, Subtitle A, CHAPTER 1, Subchapter A, PART I, Sec. 1.

Penalty for not complying with the above:

    TITLE 26, Subtitle E, CHAPTER 53, Subchapter D, Sec. 5871.

And if that is not sufficient, ask anyone convicted of tax evasion in a US court of law.

  5. There were a couple guys at work that tried to tell me that paying income taxes were unconstitutional. No laws existed to force them to pay, yadda, yadda.

They tried to convince me, to join them in not paying any income taxes, through use of high exemptions and other such nonsense. I told them good luck, but no thanks.

They got away with it for about three years, but Uncle Sammy's revenue boy's caught up with them.

Not only did they end up paying the taxes they owed, they also paid heavy fines and penalty's for not filing in the first place. They were both placed on a very long probation period with the court, luckily no prison time.

As others have suggested check out the tax codes below. The tax codes suck, but they are, what they are.

    US Tax Code:

    TITLE 26, Subtitle A, CHAPTER 1, Subchapter A, PART I, Sec.1

    TITLE 26, Subtitle E, CHAPTER 53, Subchapter D, Sec. 5871.

Here are some quotes by Thomas Jefferson, related to taxation and his related thoughts.

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.

  6. The Internal Revenue Code is codified in Title 26 of the U.S. Code.  That is PRIMA FACIE LAW or evidence of the actual acts passed by Congress.  The various internal revenue acts passed by Congress can be found in the U.S. Statutes at Large which can be seen at various Federal Depository Libraries.

    http://www.gpoaccess.gov/libraries.html

Start with Volume 68A on page 3.  That is the beginning of the Internal Revenue Act of 1954, which forms the basic structure of the tax laws in the U.S. today.  Various tax laws passed by Congress in the years since 1954 have modified that structure.  All of those acts can be found in various volumes of the U.S. Statutes at Large.

You can read Title 26 at http://www.access.gpo.gov/uscode/title26...

That is the law, whether you like it or not.  BTW, if you don't like the amount of taxes we pay here, you are free to move to another country, where in most cases, the taxes are higher.

  7. "The congress shall have Power To lay and collect taxes, Duties, Impost and Excises, to pay the debts..."

Article I  Section 8 Us Constitution.
