  1. Unsure, but recommend that your become proactiv in your health then passive.  Found its way better because then you need to go unnecessary parts or whatever they are called.

No not usually, if it is a bacterial infection which most are, then it will need antibiotics th treat it, if you are washing your eyes, use cooled boiled salt water, pour the water into a bowl and add salt while it is hot so it will dissolve and let it cool, when using the cotton wool and water always wash from your tear duct out to the edge of your eye and throw away the used piece of cotton wool, and always a separate piece for each eye to stop infection spreading to the other eye, and use your own towel and face flannel until it clears up, but do go to the doctor incase it is a bacterial infection, i hope it clears up, im just speaking on experience as i am a trained nurse.

  5. It depends on the type of infection, try rinsing you eye with water mixed with a drop of non tears baby shampoo. If not that then try water mixed with boric acid, a quarter tsp. to a pint of water. See if it helps.

  6. A bacterial infections needs antibiotics to heal.
