  1. Didn't you just answer your own question?

If you saw her crying then obviously they can cry, right?

I feel sorry for her...hope yall feel better soon (:

  2. Scientifically, it is believed that cats are deprived of emotions such as grief and depression. It is believed the tears are a result of dust allergy, injury to the eyes and illness like Upper Respiratory Infections.

But, what do these scientists know!? I do not agree that cats can't feel emotions. I believe that cats are very emotional beings, otherwise, they will not get upset with changes in the environment or lack of attention from their owners. But to see a cat cry a river, that I have not experienced personally. But some answers here proved otherwise.

Here's a website with a lot of info on actual cat owner witnessing their cat's tears. And as witnessed by you, if you really saw what you see, then yes, your cat is crying. But I cannot say that she cried because of the loss of her kittens though or if she is feeling ill herself. Best get her checked up so you can know for sure.

  3. cats do not have normal tear ducts like ours, they have a 3rd eyelid that helps the eye retain moisture. they can emit tears from their tear glands, but it is usually a sign of illness when they do. cats do have emotions, but they dont cry because of their emotions like we do, they lay around apathetically, and sometimes use the bathroom outside of the litter box when they are depressed.

  4. well cats cant cry but you can tell when there sad by seeing if they are playing with you like usual or if they are not eating *** much as they usually do
