Can Any One Help Me Find Makaton Sign's And Symbol's For Free. I Think Its Really Sad That Makaton WebSite Only Wanna Make Money. Makaton Is About Helping People 2 Communicate With Others Not Making A Profit

Hi all Makaton have a licence and what I understand it is a non profit organisation. If you already work within a school setting they should be able to get you on a course with signing and PECS. What sort of thing are you after? Is it for family or work use? Even if it is for private within the family the Speech and Language Therapist for the person should be able to point you in the right way. Would like to help but dont really know what your after...I take it your in the U.K.

These arent makaton these are just picture cards like the ones used for PEC's...if you are using signs off the net make sure you check it they are Makaton or PEC's as they are different and there are different levels.

Try contacting local pre-schools/nurseries and ask if you can photo copy their resources. Mostp laces will be happy to help out!

Try your local speech and language team. They may run courses ( some of which may be free) and you will get the course work as you learn it.

The site www.makaton.org will be able to provide the name of your local makaton tutor.
