  1. There is no such thing as stunt karate. There are martial artist that become stunt men. Jackie in a martial artist that does most of his own stunts. He does Kung Fu. If I'm not mistaken he studied at the same Kung Fu theater that Bruce Lee studied. That Opera was known for it martial arts with comedy.

The 1st guy looks like he was doing wing chun "kung fu"

I'm not sure on the last guy.

  2. I find it stupid! if you are in the arts,,,you dont do this. It is not what we teach.

  3. Goju-ryu karate

    Shotokan karate

    Wado-ryu karate

    Shito-ryu karate

    Kenpo karate

  4. Jackie Chan does not know Karate. He has studied several forms of Kung Fu. He has trained under GrandMaster Leung Ting in Wing Chun, (Bruce Lee also studied this) as well as Tong Long (Mantis), Bak Mei (White Eyebrow), as well as the Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. He has also learned Hapkido, Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo and Hei Long. Jackie's personal style is a mixture of Wing Chun, Hapkido and Judo.

  5. Yeah, what the guy below me said.

In other words: Jackie Chan's art is Kung Fu, plain and simple. It is the indisputable FACT.

And don't allow these people to mix in Juan Fan Lee (Bruce Lee) and Jackie Chan. Once & only once did they both star in a movie together. Lee may have studied other arts, but he had no set art other than his own. Jeet Kune Do "The Way Of The Intercepting Fist"!

HIS art by far is the & always has been the most superior. I've spent years studying his techniques & so forth. I've also been a follower in the arts of Brazillian Jujitsu and Kenpo. And out of all those, Jeet Kune Do is the most confusing -_-.

Sorry to say so much, even though not all of it was telling you what you wanted to know other than the thing about Jackie Chan.

So his ART is Kung Fu. Anyway......:P

By the way, Bujinkan......Where did you study Ninjutsu?

    P. S. Steven, if you ever find yourself interested in an art & may want to learn it, just be sure to stare FAR AWAY from Tae Kwon Do. It is by far the worst style I've ever come across other than soppy street fighting.

  6. actually the stunt one is not a style; it is a technique the three styles are the OKINAWAN style the JAPANESE style and the KOREAN style; thats what i know but if your saying about the technique what i know about that is  PUNCH KICK and LOCK
