Can Anyone Please Help Me Avoid Helmet Fine?

Can anyone let me know if there's anyway I can avoid a rediculous fine of 135.75 for riding without a helmet, in violation of section B1 of the motor vehicles act...

I was riding a long board without a helmet when I got pulled over by 2 bike cops and without question just wrote me a ticket...

Also, under section 170B (1) (No person shall ride on or operate a scooter, skate board, in-line skates, roller skates or other device prescribed by the regulations unless the person is wearing a helmet that complies with the regulations and the chin strap of the helmet is securely fastened under the chin.)

And also, what are "other device prescribed by the regulations ", as this comes up several times in this act

only thing you could say to judge is i was going to 911 and forgot my helmet with so much on my mind.

Follow the laws, and presto, no more fines.  Of course after you pony up this fine.

Just go to court and speak with the judge and see if he or she will allow you to take a defensive driving course and stay clean for 6 months and everything will be just fine...........
