If you could please share a few ideas i would be very greatful..

well for school for have to

select a well-known inspirational person from the catholic faith (e.g. a saint) i really need some ideas.. please help me out

--oh and i have to write a five minute oral on them (eep!)

and sadly it cannot be mother teresa or joan of arc..

Five minutes isn't that long.  It'll whiz by before you know it; just be sure to do plenty of research so you really know your subject, whatever you choose, and can wing it if you forget your prepared speech completely.  Also, use notecards with short phrases on them to jog your memory when you actually give your speech, rather than complete sentences, so you don't run the risk of reading it out loud to the class, and boring everyone (including yourself) to tears.

You could do Katharine Drexel. Google her. She helped poor people and is a Catholic Saint. I researched her for my confirmation 2 years ago.
