Can Anyone give me some good used ski deals under 175$?

I want used skis because I want to be able to go up with friends once a month, but i dont want anything too fancy because im not going to be going a whole lot. Im between a beginner and a intermediate skier. I am 14, 117 lbs, and about 5 foot 6......im trying to shoot for anything under 175$

If you live near an area where skiing is a fairly popular sport then I would hit up local ski swaps.  I am from Salt Lake and there are three of four really big swaps.  Last year I was able to get sweet twin tips that were one year old and top of the line for like $150.  They were selling on ebay for like $500.  It's nice to be able to see the seller face to face and get a clue what condition the ski's are and plus you don't have to pay shipping charges.  You should definitely see if there are swaps in your area.

go to the ski company they have a small ware house in the back full of used skis most under $130.

175? heck, for a hundred bucks more when on sale (which is pretty much all the time) you can pick up BRAND NEW skis with brand new bindings. i just bought a brand new pair of head skis for 275 including bindings, regular price 400. skis are like 400% marked up so you can find some good deals. plus if you buy anything off ebay you'll pay 60 bucks in shipping anyway!

Try Ebay. Thats where I get all my skis from its the cheapest place to buy anything.  If not try your local Craigslist.com. The season is almost over and a lot of people sell their skis at this time of the year. You can find pretty good deals.

I will also recommend going to your local ski ship. I see that you are not very familiar with skis, so go to the ski shop and ask questions of any doubts you might have(length, width, turning radius) See what they have to offer you, as I said at this time of the year they have skis that are 50% off and I am pretty sure that you can get brand new skis for the price range you are looking for.
