Can Anyone pleas provide hard facts as to why Obama should be president?

I would like to know what he has done as a Jr. Senator, besides spend OVER HALF of his time in office promoting his book and running for president.

He has no REAL stance on the war, Oil, Taxes or Healthcare, in this world, actions speak much louder than words, so can someone provide HARD facts from the archives of the US government (it is public record), I dont wanna see the "True" statements from some in-duh-pendant Barak Obama Love fest.....

He votes a lot in the Senate (ie "present") and he beat out Hillary.

He has the charisma and ability to inspire people to do more.....essential in great leaders, and something his competition lacks.

He has a great mind and has displayed a compassion in his work......again, essential in great leaders and something his competition lacks.

His positions mirror what Americans want:

He doesn't favor the rich, his economic plans will help American workers and guard American jobs (rather than corporate profits).   This is important, when you consider that while the overall amount earned (GDP) goes up....WORKING people make $2000 less than they did when Bush took office 8 years ago.    Where does that extra GDP money go?  Corporate profits and maybe 1% of the top richest people.

He doesn't want to be a warmonger or follow the policies of the right wing (Project for the New American Century) by attacking Iran or provoking wars throughout the world to maintain a Cold War state (what Bush was seeking in Iraq....Google 'Project for a New American Century' if you want to know more).

Obama would have an energy policy focused on securing our future rather than paying back ties to big oil company (profits).  He would push for alternatives rather than do what Bush or McCain do....keep us addicted and using Oil.    Bush/McCain talk about getting cutting back on oil, while the oil companies fund their campaigns.....whose interest are they working for.....   Big oil profits or the future safety and security of the people?   The answer is pretty clear.
