Can Anyone tell me about the play "The Boyfriend"?

I am in this play this summer. Can anyone give me a some details, or what it is similar to? Also how do you spell it? I've seen it like 3 ways! Thanks in advance!

omg, what a coincidence!!! i am going to be in this show too. i hope there arent too many people (wink wink!!!) anywho, i asked this question about a week ago cuz I was curious too and people were USELESS!!!!!

all i know is that it is set in the 1940s and i think its some kind of a womens rights thing but idk. julie andrews did a version of it!!!!

in a way it is similar to Thoroughly Modern Millie, being a flappers kind of show.  It doesn't make any dif how you spell it, your seach engine will find it.
