Can Anyone tell me why my speakers will not work?

Question

I am using a labtop, so they are built into my computer - and they were working earlier today. I already went to the master volume, and restarted my computer.

Does anyone know how to turn my speakers back on?

Check Device Manager First to see if there is a fault with them...

(?Driver not installed/Hardware Fault/Device Conflict/Device Disabled?)

-- If the above doesn't give you any indication as to why the speakers are no longer working, have you made any changes since they last worked correctly?  If so, restore the system to how it was configured before the change.

You haven't given any info about your system, so I couldn't give version specific advice, but the above should at least give a little help for device's within win-doze.

Other than that check your manufacturers website to download any patch or driver update that may resolve your current problem.
