  1. No Argentina will not beat South Africa..

  2. Presuming they both reach the semi's, anything can happen.

Let us rule no team out at the moment as the Puma's screwed things for the France in the opening game of the tournament!

The further a team goes, the more confidence is built!

  3. Hey as Addidas slogan goes "Impossible is nothing".

They have to beat Scotland, which in my view is 70/30 probability. South Africa ARE beatable (we have proved that this year). The Pumas can do it IF...... They play like Pumas and not South Africa. The best way to beat any team is to play to your own strengths whilst limiting theirs. We learned that at the last world cup when we (AB's) allowed England to play to Wilkinson's strengths. Shut him down and England will never win a game by tries alone.

However on the Lions tour it was child's play! Like taking candy from a baby. Why? Because we played like All Blacks!

If the Pumas play to their strengths and keep South Africa on the run they have every chance. But first dispatch the Jocks.

  4. The springboks are a formidable team, but if there was any moment in history that the Pumas were good enough to beat them, now´s the moment.

  5. it wouldnt be the first time and with Argentina being the form team in this tournament, they have the best alround forward pack but thatis not new to us Kiwis where we have always rated their forwards.they can muscle up to anyone and with S.A being very delicate under pressure, im very sure they can beat them

  6. Aus;NZ; ENG and France certainly hope so, because they know that SA will spank their behinds if they advance.

  7. No.

Playing the Springbok outside of RSA does give you a tiny chance - you will need to fill the stadium with Blue and white supporters and take every little chance you get and more - no errors and keep very very cool heads.

You have never beaten RSA. Sadly you have only had the chance to play around ten tests (I think) and RSA have won them all.

Some Nations still think an unbeaten record in test rugby is more important than the world cup - It will be a cold day in h**l before this WC Bokke team roll over to the Pumas.

Why do you think this African team will give it up at this world cup?

Have you watched any of the RSA games?

We have seen much worse RSA teams !

  8. no boks will win

  9. never

    no

  10. yeah all the chance in the world, tonga nearly beat them so why not argentina. The boks will not make the final it will be autralia and new zealand and new zealand to win.

  11. DEFINITELY!!!!!! VAMOS ARGENTINA!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  12. It's possible. Both teams are hot, but an upset isn't out of the question

  13. they have a chance

s africa look good but they are letting in tries

argentina have beaten france and ireland comfortably

    the boks better watch out

  14. Anything can happen, but I'd put my money on South Africa.

I've noticed that South Africa tends to lose focus in the games that they consider to be "easy" hence the close game against Tonga and the dumb mistakes against the USA. The Boks always seem to lift their game against quality opposition (the England victory) and I think they will treat each game from here on in as quality opposition.

My prediction: a win for SA with approx 9 points.

  15. No, Scotland will beat Fiji!

  16. News for you, Sam m, it would in fact be the first time. But it is not impossible. Nothing is, they say.

  17. "Nothing is impossible" (Nike)

But in this case.............. it is.

South Africa have always been one of the best teams in the RWC how could a team showing good form possibly topple a team like South Africa ( espicially since they're hitting top form as well).

  18. slow down... Scotland's game first, then perhaps SA.

  19. No , but nothing is impossible, but it is highly unlikely as the Springboks are on form with a very strong side. If both teams are on form that day the Springboks should win. If Argentina have an exceptional day and SA have a poor day then maybe. First beat Scotland and Fiji before you go down this road.

  20. We're not there yet, we first have to play against Scotland and it will be another heavy battle. Like our captain Pichot said, we're not a team who can spare any effort because we can't beat anyone by relying only on our name and history. We had to fight all the way to finish first and beat France and Ireland, we'll have to fight again to make it to the semifinals. We've never been taken seriously by anyone so it would be insane to make that same mistake towards Scotland who has a much greater rugby tradition than us. That game will be like a final to us.

But if we win against Scotland, it will be a dream come true. We'll see what happens next week end. Argentina deserves to keep growing and improving because the world cup is the only moment where we can play against big teams and prove that we exist in the world of international rugby. The fact of being constantly discriminated by the IRB has made a beast out of us and we want more.

  21. Anything can happen and with Argentina playing well, I wouldn't bet against them, but I can't see them upsetting South Africa.

  22. this world cup is for upsets....................underdog power.

just like FIJI beat wales in the pool decider for the runner-up.......ARGENTINA will move on to the final.....against AUSTRALIA......

    GO the PUMAS.............ARRGGHHHH

  23. They will play well enough but are no match for the Springboks.

  24. What planet are you from?

  25. Wow you actually pay attention to rugby.

  26. No

  27. maybe. Argentina are playing well, Soth Africa haven't really been challenged yet. I think South Africa will have the edge as Argentina do not have the strength in depth that the boks have so they may tire by the semi-finals.

  28. I have more chance of my dog having puppies than that.  I dont have a dog.

It will be dont 'try' for me Argentina!

  29. "Nothing is impossible" (Nike)

    Go pumas!!

Yo te dare, te dare una cosa, una cosa que empieza con P PUMAS!!!!
