  1. I dont see it happening, and I would be very happy just for making it to the finals (we would be battling our first difficult team in the semis: the boks. New Zealand is too much for us yet. This world cup has been the best of the Pumas to date, and I wouldnt be surprised if we win it 8 years from now.

Note: if we beat the odds and win the cup, ill be denying i posted this answer.

Northernland: There is no way The Pumas would want to monopolize the 7 Nations. A Quad nations would be better, after all, It would be the best 4 teams, and al SH ones.

  2. I'm not sure.

But I'd love to see that happening!

  3. Argentina have been absolutely brilliant this World Cup, but let's face it - they'd first have to beat SA in the semi's, which is a REALLY tall order. And even if they do this, they will be probably have to face either Australia or New Zealand in the final. Personally, as well as Argentina have played, I can't see them getting past any of the other Southern Hemisphere teams.

PS Based on Argentina's performance, I'd love to see the Trinations turned into the Four Nations next year...

  4. anythings possible but the likelyhood of that is very slim althogh they should win their Q/F they don't have the depth to be able to fight for 2 big games in a row they need more than just spirit in there team,

teams like new zealand and south africa have depth and experience in the knockout phase, they also play each other twice  a year in quick succession which means they're much more prepared to win a semi and a final where as argentina getting further in the knockout phase would be a challange but to be ready to challenge 1 of the heavy weights after beating the other is very unlilkely.

  5. Argentina has been playing very good, indeed.  However, New Zealand’s All Blacks are in too. Argentina has never defeated them, and by looking how they are playing in this world cup, if Argentina is able to get to them (since South Africa and Australia are also in), they’ll fall again. Sad but true.

  6. Very, very unlikely, although I would love if they did...

Scotland will be tough, South Africa almost impossible, and they never won against the All Blacks...

Argentina has been playing a fantastic rugby considering that they have some amateur players, they put a lot of hart.

Argentina should be invited to play in the 6 nations (should be 8), maybe not as a permanent team and based in Europe where most of its players play anyway. Two zones of 4 make a lot of sense.

All this talks about being "from the SH" don't make sense, Argentina can not put a competitive team there as the best players will not be released by their European teams. Why dividing the Earth north and south? Why not east and west? Or maybe diagonally?

Travelling to and from New Zealand to Buenos Aires can take 2 days....

  7. They can reach the final for sure with some luck,  winning they can , but some things should happen to give argentina some advantage, like not having any injured on their side and lets say NZ reaches the final too, then if  Richie McCaw and Dan Carter are injured together with Howlett and Rockococo, I don't see why they shouldn't have the chance of winning. I mean they have the potential to win  against NZ , but it would be something very unusual. I think they have to be very very lucky...

4 years ago I wouldn't say the same, but a this moment Pumas are at a very high level...

  8. Yes in about 40 years time

  9. No way although they are really impressive this year i feel there is only one team in it and that's the.. All blacks!

  10. OF COURSE WE CAN WIN THE WORLD CUP!!!!

    AND WE WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (world cup of...?)

    ;oD

  11. no. i dont think so really. unless other teams namely NZ have an off day...

  12. Argentina have never won against the All Blacks but they have also never won against the Springboks either.  I believe the pumas have played the Springboks 11 times and lost every time.  Having said that, the Pumas have a strong team at this W.C. but they need more time, they are not yet ready to take on the Tri Nations teams with any realistic chance of beating any of them at this time.

  13. Yes they could and I genuinely think that they believe in themselves, but South Africa and probably New Zealand stand in their way, so in all honestly I think not.

They have been the star team for me in this World Cup, I have loved watching them. Get them in the Six Nations quick and turn it into the Seven Nations.
