Also What brand of deck stain is recommended and why?

I need to stain my year old deck. It is starting to splinter and crack all over :(

  1. Hah!  I made an outdoor table of PT balusters, and someone gave me some Australian Timber Oil.  It's on, looks great, and water really beads up.  This stuff may be all you need on your PT pine.  It came highly recommended by a pro painter friend.
