Can Bangalore be "Refreshed"?

Quite some time back the TOI launched a campaign called "Refresh Bangalore" where their objective was to put the "Bang back in Bangalore"......whateva the heck that means! Where do you see this programme going and do you think Bangalore will ever be a worthy and proud place to reside in admist all the power hungry, corrupt, good for nothing politicials like Deve Gowda? No disrespect to Mr. Gowda's followers but look at the d**n reality i say, what the h**l has he done except pocketing our hard earned money in the form of taxes and claiming all the development to his credit.

looks like a tall order..but the fact that there's so much hype will atleast ensure some kinda start is there and hope it attains its goals else the city is headed towards doom

1. Boring City (only entertainment is Pubs and that SUX!)

2. Countless power cuts

3. Bad and costly food

4. Poor transport

5. Lack of civic sense among the people

6. People don't speak properly or cheat you if you don't speak Kannada

7. Segregation based on North Indian or South Indian

This is what you mean to say I think has come of Bangalore today? I Have a question for you buddy, how long are you in Bangalore anyway? This isn't Bangalore today! This IS Bangalore when I moved in here some 14 years ago, in simple English, it's the same Bangalore that has forever been and forever will be! I dunno what tricks the TOI team have up their sleeves but I am sure (about 80%) that this city will never improve. I know to speak Kannada now ( but not that fluently) because I like the language. I have seen and experienced that the people here who claim to be original Kannedigas tend to be harsh or cheat you if you don't speak their language. This i really sad. What's even worse is that all the people from above A.P are called as "Naarth Indians" and are usually treated badly. Don't they understand that we all Indians? And the transport is the worst! Auto drivers are like the members of the mafia and you can never talk back to them! They think it is their d**n right to decide where they want to take you. And about the forever planning metro project, don't' even get me started cuz I have a Mahabharata for you!

Anyways all the best to the TOI team who's given a d**n to the city but I really dunno where the h**l they are going by starting with some festival out of the blue and even conducting some marathon or some c**p. TOI has done an excellent job in getting their readers addicted to the paper, hope they can do the same to the politicians by getting addicted to the city's infrastructure development.

Anyways........nice question!! I was waiting for someone to ask this. Didn't wanna do it myself cuz I don't wanna lose 5 points you know! ;)
