Can Blu-ray Dvds be played on regular TVs if you have a PS3 or something that can play blu-rays?

i have an older TV not HD or anything like that, but i have a PS3 which plays blu-rays, and i was wondering if the TV can play it. (or if its worth going through the trouble if the TV is garbage?)

  2. Yes you just will not see a HD picture.

  3. No, you will need a HDTV 1080p, and a HDMI cable to view Blue-ray Disc movies
