  1. I have these and they are so beautiful!

    I'm on the east coast southern part of the USA, it gets cold here.



    I have mine  planted on the northern side of my house, in the fall when they start to dieing down I put extra pine straw around the to help keep the roots from freezing, they do very well here.

    I try and keep extra on all my tropicals, the only time I remove the straw is to give them a good fertilizing and to loosen up the soil a little then I put it back on.

  3. Yes, they love heat and humidity. Be careful though as all parts of the plant are poisonous. They will thrive in your warm climate, and grow easily from cuttings
