  1. Coke (full strength, not Diet) = heaps of sugar

    Candy = heaps of sugar

    It's the sugar which causes the cavities. It doesn't matter what it's in.

    Sugar contains a couple of things which start the formation of plaque on your teeth, and then a reaction caused by certain bacteria sticking to it which produces an acid. It is this acid which dissolves the enamel and causes a cavity.

  2. yes sometimes it can but you can stop that just instead of drinking coke drink water its healthy

  3. If you're drinking regular Coke then definitely, it's very very high in sugar. But both regular and diet sodas are acidic, so that could be wearing away at your enamel, leaving you more vulnerable to cavities as well.

  4. Its the sugar. Yes it will.

  5. YUME,WHAT'S WRONG ABOUT COKE IS THAT IT HAS THE TWO WORST THINGS FOR TEETH YOU COULD DRINK

    #1=SUGAR

    #2= PHOSPHORIC ACID

    BOTH OF THESE DEVASTATE TOOTH ENAMEL AND CAUSE DECAY AS WELL AS WEIGHT GAIN

  6. yes definitely! lots of sugar and carbonation!
