Can College athletes be on Team USA?

Can a Mens College Basketball player be on the USA Mens olympic team? Or is it just NBA players that are allowed?

However it may be difficult to keep up with your studies and fullfill any scholarship obligations you may have while playing on the team.  The obligation is not just a couple of weeks for the Olympics.

Only if they're good enough. And the college athletes who are 'good enough' get drafted into the NBA.

it's not who's allowed, it's who makes it. So yes a college player could be on team USA basketball team
