I know they would never encounter each other in the wild, but, I was just wondering.

  1. NOOOOOOO!!! Your boa will eat your python. Ball Pythons are a small breed of snake but boas are not. In the wild snakes eat other snakes and your Red Tail Boa will do just that.

  2. Check out this link: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthr...

  3. putting two snakes from different continents is a bad idea. especially when they vary greatly in size and all boas have a disease called IBD. if transfered to ball pythons, it can easily kill the python. those two snakes should not even be in the same room. keep species separate, for the sake of the snakes

  4. No.  Snakes are not communal animals and do not live together for companionship or "happiness".  It is very unnatural to force snakes to share a habitat.  It is stressful and can lead to illness and possible cannibalism.

  5. No.

Snakes like to live by themselves, and you will ESPECIALLY have problems with housing different species together.

I can't find it off the top of my head but there are pictures somewhere on here of a boa that ate and regurgitated a BP about the same size of it.

It can happen, you are just asking for problems housing them together.
