Can Computer actions be tracked??

Hello all.

I have a friend, who has a ex that offered to send her a computer he is putting together. While living with him for a short time, she found out he had hidden cameras in his home watching her while he was at work.

She really wants a computer, but is wondering, if this guy is putting it all together, is there a program or anything he can be putting in it to track her actions if she excepts the computer?

Even though he's her ex, he trys to control her everyday, even though a couple states away.

Can he track her actions on the computer from his??

Absolutely.  She should accept the computer, then take it to a local computer shop and have the hard drive re-formatted or replaced and new software installed.  This will solve the problem.  Save nothing from the original hard drive, nothing.  Also have them re-install the bios.
