Yes, I believe he can. When he was recording his self-titled album with the Mystic Valley Band they all lived in Mexico. They bought this house and put a recording studio in it and just lived in Mexico for about a year or two when they were writing an recording. So I'm assuming he'd have to know some Spanish. Plus you know there's a few little lines in Spanish in some of those songs.
