  1. Just like the other cordless phones like 900M, 2.4G, or 5.8G counterparts, the DECT phones also have models with caller ID, answering, and speakerphone features.

    The only difference is that DECT phones uses digital transmission as it name implies. Digitally Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT).

    DECT phones with Caller ID features are available from Panasonic, GE, Motorola, Uniden, etc.

There are only a few DECT 6.0 model phones out in the North American market at this time.  While pretty much all of them have Caller ID, I'm not aware of any that have talking Caller ID.  Unfortunately it would seem that "accessible" telephones always lag behind in signal technology.  You could still use a standalone talking caller ID unit by using a phone line splitter but of course you would have to be near the unit to hear it talk.  There are also some telephone services that will announce the caller and ask you to press 1 to accept the call or press 2 to send them to voice mail.  Grandcentral is an example of this.
