I have a Samsung LCD TV model LA32T51B and a LG DVD/CD receiver model HT762PZ. Is there a way I can make use of the HDMI slot available on my receiver and get it connect to the DVI slot on my TV?

  1. Yes but you will get no sound to your TV. You can buy a HDMI to DVI cable at places like Bestbuy. You will get the same quality of picture just without the sound to the TV. If you already have the HDMI cable you can buy a adapter that converts it. Hope i ansered you question.

  2. There are connecters yes. Using one with my screen now. You should find them at your local pc store, if not ebay or so...

  3. yes, it's very easy. You'll need to buy a) an adaptor that converts the HDMI to DVI or vice versa or b) buy a DVI to HDMI cable.

These can easily be bought for cheap at www.monoprice.com
