Can DYFS provide a child a safe environment as they continue to have issues in the foster care system?

  1. Many people get into it for the right reasons (helping children, care concern) and then there the ones who get into so they can get the money. Children that are considered "harder to handle" for emotion or violent behavior and requiring medication for them seem to be the ones who often end up abused since the government pays more for them. I had a friend who had a great foster mom and most that were in a situation that was poor where the food was over rationed for the kids so the foster parents could save and live it up. It depends on the community and such how well things are handled. They need to check in on the kids more and better.

    And places like Kidspeace is worse in most cases. It's hard. The system is not working well.
