  1. Darren Clarke WILL be on the team, he is a leader and someone all tour players looks up to.  He has integrity, drive, and that special formula to win.

He is one of the few guys that is not afraid to go one on one with Tiger and that speaks volumes.  He feels on any given day he can beat anyone.  That you can't teach or coach, you either have it or you don't.  that is one of the reasons the Bits have beat us the last few times.  They all are very confident strong players Darren, being there before will bring that plus experience.

    I can't fathom Faldo not picking Clarke..period!

  2. Even if he doesn't he can be picked by the european captain as a 'wildcard'.

  3. I hope he makes it.  He's been to h**l and back recently with the situation with his wife (she died a while back of cancer).  Making the Ryder Cup would definitely make it more interesting than it already is.  His teaming with Lee Westwood is one of the better to compete on the European side.

He's a throwback to the good ol' boys days of golf, and he'd be missed at the Ryder Cup.

  4. Being a Yank I cannot answer the question except to say there are some Captain's picks. Darren Clark has done well in past Ryder Cup matches. If I were  Nick Faldo, he would get serious consideration.
