  1. De La Hoya won when he fought bums.... lost when he fought contenders.... he's not that great of a boxer..

  2. Doesn't matter who trains Oscar. Oscar will be a year older and slower. Ask yourself if he trained hard to get ready for the fight against Floyd last year ? We know he did, but what's the difference ? A  full year and a half later he tries to fight him again. And if history is any indication, PBF "won" a decision against Castillo the first time, the 2nd time it wasn't even close PBF dominated Castillo.

So the question now becomes, how hard and smart is PBF going to train to fight DLH ? DLH is going to be dominated this time around and lose by UD. Not a knockout though, none of them have the pop to ko each other.

  3. It's not the trainer. It's the fact that Oscar always runs out of gas after about 7-8 rounds. He is also about 10 years past his prime.

  4. Yeah he can beat him , he almost got the decision in the first fight without him. Im not picking oscar to win in the rematch or saying he will win but I think he has a better chance than he did in the first fight. The fight can still go either way but after going 12 rounds with mayweather once , being the more active fighter this time around for this year at least , and now having mayweather sr. back as his trainer I think can only help his chances of winning in the rematch. I dont know by how much but defintly should help some.  So I am looking forward to the fight.

  5. NO  MAYWHEATHER PAYS THE REFS FOR BAD CALLS ON DELAJOYA MAYWHETER SU**KS

  6. he couldn't beat mayweather if he tried honey because mayweather is the best fighter in this world people just don't known

  7. ask your self this there fought before right mayweathers wins

de la hoya was not ring fit as i say he will win this fight

but if you ask me it is all too do with the money a rematch is worth more then the first one don't you think

  8. I don't how much Floyd Sr. will make a difference, but I do know that Oscar could have won the first fight if he had kept throwing his jab.  Once he decides he doesn't care about looking bad by being aggressive he will do much better - he was very "image"conscience in the first fight, afraid to let Mayweather's slickness make him look bad, so he threw fewer punches as a result.

Look, conventional wisdom says you have to beat the champ, Floyd did that barely at best.  Even if you look at it objectively, without "champion" factors in mind, Floyd won either 7-5 or 8-4, and he did it hardly in a dominant fashion...I hate that the fight is being made, but Oscar has an excellent chance of winning if they do it again.

  9. to me, mayweather is beatable... and de la hoya can beat him... it doesnt matter who trains him...

  10. Oscar hasn't been a fighter since he got KO'd by Hopkins.   It doesn't matter who trains him.   He won't hit Mayweather Jr & he will get often by Mayweather Jr.   The last fight wasn't close but they were in Vegas & Oscar always gets a few judges who give him rounds to make the fight seem even.   That fight wasn't close Floyd won about 8 rounds to 4.   To answer your question Floyds father is deulsional he thinks he's the best trainer in the business.   He trained Oscar when he's fought a bunch of bums & who else has he trained.   Roger Mayweather is a better trainer & he was a better fighter in his day.
