  1. yes

they had different players in the 2005 squad such as Simon Jones, Geriant Jones ect.

i guess it was the pressure of living up to the 2005 series which cost them the 2006/07 ashes

  2. i dont understand why we engilsh people and english commentators are always on about the 2005 ashes, every test match england plays, The 2005 triump ashes is always talked about. i mean look at india at home against australia, has only lost 1 series against them in 30 years. we english need to look to the future, and hopefully  flintoff will come back, and hopefully we can find a legend like sachin or lara. england with everything seems to always be stuck in the past

  3. I highly doubt that England can beat Australia in any form of the game.

  4. Well they beat us fair & square back in '05, but did it warrant OBE's being awarded to the whole team?????? I think not.........

  5. England's 2005 ashes success was a serious effort as the

players did well to win. But now with injuries and poor form, it

will take longer than other times against the Aussies. It will

again be a humiliation for England if they do not have the right

team selected and play well. The way Aussies play and with

their current form, I do not think there is a team that can beat

them other than SA or India.
