England certainly has the experience in the clutch situations, but the 'boks are decidedly tough.

Predicitions and nationality in your response, if you please

  1. England to win

    Good luck to the Bokkes

  2. I guess we will just have to wait and see! no one thought England could beat Australia 4 years ago, but we did, and we can do it again tomorrow. But I will be watching with my South African son-in-law, and I am sure whoever wins, we will both be man enough to congratulate each other.GOOD LUCK SOUTH AFRICA, BUT BETTER LUCK ENGLAND.

  3. At this level passion and commitment wins the game. It helps if you have talent and skill. though. They don't. (SA)

  4. Well England certainly have been running hot n cold this RWC, there performance has been average at best, though they did pick themselves up in the France match.

On the other hand SA have been steady the whole RWC bar Fiji for about 5 mins however there form is good and yes will be tough to break.

My predictions have been laughable at the best of times however I did predict after Australias' shock loss England would go through to the finals - so

If England can get points on the board first, punt the ball over at every opportunity and play level headed rugby, draw SA in and not give them a chance to spread the ball wide.......

England to win by no more than 12.....

otherwise SA to win by more than 12....

  5. American here.

On paper, the Boks should have a fairly easy time.  They're just better across the board in just about every area.  But that's why we play the games.  England has got to the final on strong defense & timely scoring.  To have a chance, they need to follow the same script as they have been.  Get on the board & grab the lead early, turn up the defense, make SA play from behind.

My official prediction is SA by a comfortable, but not huge, margin.

  6. England is a great team. But since I'm South African and since we thrashed them 36-0, I say SA is too much for them.

  7. England to win

  8. Go South Africa- i can't believe I'm saying this (AB's fan), i just don't really like England.

  9. I supported England against France due to my ancestry and links are from Scottish and English soil.  However when the Ab's were ousted, I support SA as they have been our rivals and I honour them for not only statistically been a dangerous side, but one that never says never, even in defeat.  Both sides will be looking at shutting out the danger men and this will make for interesting rugby. My father  remarried a lovely South African  and as respect for my father and my step mother I will say SA will take it.

  10. SA have the killer instinct

Sorry my pommie friends you are goning to get your ar*e kicked

  11. To the other person answering this, actually I think most people thought England would beat Australia 4 years ago, we were the favourites in that one.

With regard to this year, I think the one thing going in Englands favour is that SA were shown they could leak points in the Fiji match so they aren't without weaknesses.
