  1. donno ,may be....

coz we cant adjudge him by just one victory....

    lets wait and see.

  2. NO

Very bold thing for a one week old captain to be spouting. Especially when they lost the series.

All respect to Graeme Smith but I do remember when he took over the SA captaincy 5 year ago saying that within one year the SA team would be number one test side in the world.

I think all new captains like to dream....

  3. Yes.

  4. yes

  5. of course they can...every time when they start dreaming

  6. England were talking that up a while back. I even asked a similar question, because i was quite shocked at how early Vaughn had come out and said we have what it takes to regain the Ashes.

England sure as h**l have the potential to regain the Ashes, but in my opinion they won't be able to keep the pressure on Australia. Australia are the toughest competetors right now, and they always find there head around any situation so the pressure must always be put on them.

In my opinion England are just a little bit fragile at the momment, but by 2009 i think they'll be ready to take one Australia and i say that it will be a tight competition, and it won't be a one country dominance like last time.

  7. no

  8. You never know K.P might just have the winning side cause hes played one test and won it so you dont know what's up his sleeve.

Also the ashes could bring a draw instead of any one winning.

  9. He said "we will defeat Australia ' if ' we play as we did".

It is fair, meant to boost his players confidence..The ' if ' makes all the difference between a fair and belligerent statement.
