  1. it didn't stop me, and I've been a nurse for thirty five years.

  2. It would ease your mind if you could sit down with someone in the medical field and discuss or call your local college. But, yes you can become a professional nurse with Epilepsy.  In fact, you can do just about anything you want to.I had a friend in high school who graduated, when to nursing school and is a wonderful nurse. She has won many awards.

May God Bless you and give you the ability to be what you want to be.Also you are still young, so keep the door open for other options that you may want to be. You will be a success. Do not others put up road blocks that are not valid. Check for yourself.

It does have some bearing on just how sick you are but normally most people grown out of it and it can be controlled with medication. There are also many different jobs in the medical field.

  3. Absolutely, you can become one if you want to. They cannot limit you because of what you are.

  4. if your condition is controlled there should be no problem

when you apply to school, be up front with them and if they

have a problem ask if it is just personal bias of if there is any

legal or medical reason for their stance.

  5. It is illegal to discriminate against you for that reason.

Go for it and good luck with whatever course you choose x

  6. as long as your condition is under control theres no reason why you can't be.
