Can Eyelashes grow back??

Question

bcause Lately my friend's been sleeping wirh her mscara on, and usually she has the prettiest lashes, now it looks like she hardly has any!!

Yes eyelashes grow back i trimmed my eyelashes when i was in 7th grade because i hated how long they were. Eventually they grew back and i can't imagine myself without long eyelashes. Also i've always slept without taking off my mascara and my eyelashes don't fall off.

yeah, i have experienced that before. its like your eyelashes kind of snap in half and they look shorter. you should NEVER sleep with mascara or any makeup on your face. always remove it before you sleep. im not sure about it growing back though, sorry

Good question.. I was going to ask that. Haha I hope it grows back cause sometimes I'm too tired to take my makeup off and I lose alot of lashes. I think it does grow back but slowly :)

I think mostly they do, I burnt mine off once and the grew back . I also had a friend that pulled all hers out with an eyelash curler and only little stubs grew back.

First of all, yes, eyelashes do grow back. They're hair too, so just like any hair they grow, and in time they fall (>_< even in your eye - that's SO annoying) so you can grow back new ones. Also, like hair, they need care. If you had paint on your head, would you sleep with the paint still on? I don't think so. So tell your friend to take off any mascara or make-up before sleep, it prevents the skin from "breathing" properly and will result in many unpleasant little problems later on.

if she stops wearing mascara so often they'll grow back sooner (:
