Can FM modulator be used to browse for radio stations?

My radio has Japanese tuner and is limited to 88.90 fm, can I use fm modulator to listen more fm stations?

  1. No, an FM modulator is used to connect specific units, such as CD multiplayers, to a radio. They work on just 1 or 2 locked frequencies.

    However if you go to a good radio fitter you will be able to purchase an aerial frequency adapter. This is designed to move all the frequencies so they fall in line with what is required to listen to all our stations. The one problem is that the display will not correspond with the chosen frequency. This is a minor problem and you will soon learn where all the stations are.
