Can GA Probation Officers carry their duty weapon anywhere off duty or are they limited to where they can carry? Do they carry like Police Officers or can they be denied entry to places when they are off duty?

If they are a duly constituted police officer and are authorized to carry a weapon, they may carry their weapon any place WHILE IN UNIFORM. No one except those officers permitted to wear civilian clothes while on duty and are authorized to carry a concealed weapon may enter a facility that prohibits the carrying of firearms.
